TIEDEMAN SLOUGH CABIN (AK), AKDescriptionClick here for more cabin information and maps. Tiedeman Slough Cabin is located on the east bank of the Tiedeman Slough. Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, oil stove for heat, and an outhouse. Bring #1 oil or kerosene for the oil stove. Mattresses and cooking utensils are not provided. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear, and food. Effective November 17, 2003, reservations for Alaska cabins will be subject to a new policy allowing only one change per reservation. A change in reservation is defined as a modification to the start or end date of the reservation. After one change has been made, if additional changes are desired, the customer must cancel the reservation and at a later time, re-book the new dates. This policy has been established to assure that reservations for cabins are fair and equitable for everyone. Alerts and Important InformationTreat or boil water before consumption. (Latitude, Longitude): 60.42, -145.47139 Accessible by boat from the Alaganik boat ramp (Mile 17, Copper River Highway then turn South on Alaganik Road for 3 miles). From the boat ramp go 7 miles west on Alaganik Slough to Tiedeman Slough, go ΒΌ mile north on this slough to the cabin. The cabin is located on the east bank.
