Campground is normally snow covered and closed until after July 4th.
Reservations must be made in 7 days in advance. Water system for the 2009 season may have intermittent flow; a new well installation is planned.
Over Labor Day weekend reservations must be made for the entire weekend Friday through Sunday, Sept. 4th-6th.
ATVs are allowed to enter and leave campground only; no recreational riding within the campground. Call Minidoka Ranger District Office for information on motorized trails.

From I-84 take Exit 216, ID State Hwy 77 South approximately 18 miles through the towns of Declo and Albion to Howell Canyon Road. Head east, up the canyon on Howell Canyon Rd. for another 7 miles. Road is steep and winding. Look for entrance sign on your right. Use caution with travel trailers and RVs; not all campground loops are suitable for trailer turn-arounds.
