THIRD FORK CABIN (ID), ID

Description

Located about 18 miles north of Ola, Idaho, this rustic cabin sleeps four people. The mountainous area is forested and steep. Old growth ponderosa pine can be found. A small stream runs through the area. Summer days are warm in the 80 to 90 degree range and nights are cool. Facilities provided include one double bed and two single beds, propane cook range, refrigerator, hot water heater, indoor toilet, indoor shower and propane heater. There is a fenced yard with a picnic table and fire ring. Bring your own bedding, utensils, light, and water. Water may not be available. Camping is not allowed at this site. No saddle, pack or draft animals are allowed. Popular activities include: stream fishing, hiking mountain trails, and big game hunting. The camp host is located at Antelope Campground, 18 miles east in the Sagehen Reservoir area. Firewood can be purchased from the camp host.

Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance.

Cabin use is by reservation only.
Parking is limited.
Camping is not allowed at this site.
Please do not use tents, motorhomes, or RVs.

Water is not potable and may not be available.

Renters need to obtain combination to cabin gate and door from ReserveAmerica prior to arrival at cabin.
The number will be provided on your confirmation letter.

No refunds are given for bad weather.

From Boise, Idaho, take Highway 55 north to Horseshoe Bend, then take Highway 52 west 9 miles to the junction at Sweet/Ola Highway (no road number). Take this road north 17 miles to Ola. Continue north through Ola on Road 618 to the Third Fork Cabin. This road changes from pavement to gravel a few miles north of Ola.
