Description

Mount Timpanogos Trailhead is nearby and accesses hiking trails to the 11,700 foot Mount Timpanogos. An extra vehicle fee will be collected at campground. Campers must have a recreation pass before camping. Three-day passes are $6 per vehicle, Seven day passes are $12 per vehicle, and annual passes are $45 per vehicle. Passes are available at entrance stations located on either side of the Alpine Scenic Loop or 3 day passes can be purchased at self service fee tubes located at major trailheads. Please check-in with host at Mt. Timpanogos Campground to gain access to Theater in the Pines group site. The site capacity for people will be strictly enforced. Additional persons above the maximum at any time (including those visiting for a meal) will be asked to leave. Additional vehicles will be charged a daily extra vehicle fee.

NOTE: A reservation for Theater in the Pines group site does not include access to the adjacent historic amphitheater. Use of the amphitheater is currently "first-come-first-serve." Theater in the Pines amphitheater is currently under renovation and is not open to the public. Renovation work is expected to continue through the 2010.
