TALLY LAKE CAMPGROUND (MT), MT

Description

Tally Lake Campground is located 17 miles west of Whitefish, MT on the Tally Lake Road FS #913.
Tally Lake Campground is located on the northern shore of Tally Lake west of Whitefish, Montana. The campground is very popular with locals and tourist visiting the Flathead Forest. Facilities at the campground include beach, boat launch, open air pavilion, two group camping areas, 40 campsites, host, dump station, horseshoe pit, accessible dock and trails, interpretive site with spotting scope, water system, and vault toilets. There are additional hiking, horse and bike trails around Tally Lake Campground that link the area to the lake. Wildlife, waterfowl, Bald Eagles and migratory birds are commonly seen while staying at the campground.


Group Site Reservations:
The Group Site may be reserved for overnight or day use by clicking BOOK NOW below. You will simply pay $25.00 per night or $75.00 for day use when you make your reservtion and then pay the additional camper unit fees to th e host upon your arrival at the campground.
A minimum of five camper units, defined as a motor home, trailer, pick-up camper, or family tent, is required for use of the group site. This generally means groups no smaller than ten people and no larger than 100 people.
Overnight users will pay the $25.00 per night fee when making their reservation and each camper unit must pay an additional $15.00 per night upon arrival. Paying the camper unit fee upon arrival means you don't have to know how many people are going to come along when making your reservation.
Day users will pay $75.00 when making their reservation and then $4.00 per vehicle to the host upon arrival.
The $25.00 overnight and $75.00 day use group site fees are non-refundable. Groups who do not arrive by the 2:00 p.m. check in time risk forfeiture of the fees and the site may be given to another group.

Alerts and Important Information

3 nights minimum on holidays & 2 nights minimum on weekends.
Grizzly, black bears, and mountain lions live in the area, store your food, beverages, coolers, and garbage inside your vehicle.
Pets on leashes are allowed at the campground.

Attention Large Groups:Must have a minimum of 5 camper units defined as a motor home, trailer, pick-up camper, or family tent, is required for use of the group site.
You may make your reservation online or by telephone by simply paying $25.00 per night with a credit card and then paying the additional camper unit fees or day use fees to the host upon your arrival at the campground. The above fees are in addition to your $10.00 NRRS reservation fee.

FEE: The Group Sites can be reserved for Overnight or Day Use.

Overnight:There is a $25.00 per night fee. As the users arrive at the campground, they will pay an additional $15.00 per night camper unit fee. A camper unit is a motorhome, trailer, pick-up camper or family tent. The group site needs to have a minimum of 5 camper units per night.

Day Use: Groups using the Group Site Areas for Day Use only will pay a one time $75.00 per day when making their reservation and a $4.00 per vehicle fee as they arrive.

Late Cancellations:
The $25.00 per night is non refundable.

No-Shows:
If you do not arrive at the campground or group facility by the times listed above, you will forfeit your $25.00 per night.
