This is the group use site #5 located within the South Fork Campground along the South Fork of the Clearwater River on Highway 14 toward Elk City. Is this the campsite you are requesting? This is the ONLY reservable site within the campground, all other sites are first come, first serve. Please bring garbage bags. This facility is "Pack it in. Pack it out in non peak season." Site #5 is on the river. Site #6 is across the road and has 2 tables and a large open area, but IS NOT reservable and not part of site #5. Parking is VERY limited, if vehicles are parked near other campsites, they will be expected to pay for those sites.

From the Forest Service Offices in Grangeville, head south on the Grangeville-Salmon Road and turn left at the drive-in theater toward the small town Mt. Idaho. Continue on the Mt. Idaho Grade, and toward Elk City on Hwy 14. South Fork Campground is located at Mile Post 14 on Hwy 14.
