Description

Soldier Creek Campground adjacent to Strawberry Reservoir, and offers beautiful panoramic views of the reservoir and surrounding valley. The setting is rolling hills of sage brush, young pine trees, and a stand of aspens at an elevation of 7,200 feet. Each site has picnic table and fire ring, some have grills. Most sites have covered picnic tables and privacy/wind screens. Camping spurs are between 50 to 75 feet apart. Water and flush toilets are provided. Soldier Creek Day Use area is within a quarter mile of campground loops and offers a boat ramp, marina, small general store, and fish cleaning station. Popular activities at Soldier Creek include trout fishing, boating, water skiing, canoeing, hiking, biking, and interpretive programs. Horseback riding trails are available outside the campground.
