Serrano Campground is located in the San Bernardino mountains, near the town of Big Bear. This campground is situated in a mountain setting in a pine forest and near Big Bear Lake. Popular activities include hiking, mountain biking, boating and fishing.

Alerts and Important Information

Serrano Campground is closed due to a large snow storm that hit the area starting Monday, Jan. 18, 2010 and will reopen for reservations beginning Friday, April 30, 2010.
Stoves using gas, jellied petroleum, or pressurized liquid fuel are still allowed. Check with the local Ranger Station for current fire restrictions
  • Reservations must be made at least 1 day in advance.
  • 3 night minimum for holiday weekends.
  • Quiet hours 10pm to 6am.
  • Pets must be leashed at all times.
  • Camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle. A fee for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground.
  • Gas, jellied petroleum and pressurized liquid fuel stoves are allowed in the campground.
  • No walk in sites available

    From I-10 in Redlands, CA, take State Hwy 30/330 north to State Hwy 18 in Running Springs. Continue east on Highway 18 at Bear Dam. Go straight, do not cross Dam. Hwy 18 becomes Hwy 38 at Dam. Continue on 38 to Serrano Campground sign on right side of Hwy 38.
