Description

Sardine Lake Campground is located in the North Yuba River area. This 27 single family campground is located in a lodge pole pine forest with paved roads and paved site pads. A beaver induced wetland is located along side of the campground. Sardine Lake is located close by for fishing and swimming activities.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made 3 day in advance
  • 2 night minimum on weekends and 3 night minimum on holidays
  • Additional $2.00 per day fee for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends.
  • No hook-ups
  • No Showers
  • The camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and one legally towed vehicle
  • A $5.00 fee per day for extra vehicle will be collected at the campground
  • Pets must be leashed at all times 6 foot maximum
  • 6 people per site only
  • Vehicles park in parking spurs only
  • All equipment must fit on pad
  • Quite hours are 10pm to 6am and strictly enforced
  • Fire restrictions may apply
  • Bears frequent the area. All food must be kept in approved containers

    From Sierraville, go south 18 miles on HWY 49 to Bassett. Turn right, go 1.5 miles, turn left on FS RD 93, Go 1.25 miles. Camp is on left side of HWY.
