Description

Located on the western slope of the Colorado Rockies, at the town of Redstone. Campground is situated along the Crystal River at an elevation of 7,200 feet. Red cliffs. Facilities provided include hot/cold water, showers, flush toilets, composting toilet, horseshoe pits and tot lots. Popular activities include jeep tours, visiting the marble quarry visiting the historic town of Redstone (within 1 mile) No dump station is available. The closest dump station is in Glenwood Springs. Electric and water hook-ups are only available in the Allgeier and Osgood Loops. There are no hook-ups available in the Mechau Loop.

Alerts and Important Information

This campground has first-come, first-served sites. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. You must bring reservation number with you to the campground. Thundershowers likely in afternoon. Snow possible during summer months. There is no sewer site hook-ups at this campground. A fee of $5 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground. All equipment must fit on the site pad. Vehicles park in developed areas only. 14 day stay limit within 60 day period.
