There is no drinking water, electric or sewer hook ups. Primitive group tent camping only. This is a 500 foot walk in to the site from the parking lot. No vehicles will be allowed access beyond parking lot gate. Pack In Pack out equipment. $10.00 for the first 20 people then .50 cents for each additional person up to 40 people Please bring your own drinking water. Parking allowed in parking lot only. This is a walk in, pavilion group tent campground site. Trash recepticals are not provided. Please Pack in Pack out waste. Gate at parking lot remains closed and locked at all times. Gates will not be unlocked for vehicle access. Extra equipment must be carried in by hand or cart. Pack in Pack out trash, recepticals are not provided on site. There is no artifical lighting at pavilion or parking area.
Any group size larger than 75 people need to apply for a Recreation Special Use permit. Please request your permit 3 months prior to the date you need the site.

NOTE: The access and parking lot is not plowed to the entrance of the pavilion, possible limited access in winter due to snow. Parking would be on a town road. See local town for overnight parking regulations.

From the South, take State Route 17 to exit 52 (Watkins Glen exit/State Route 14 North). In Watkins Glen, turn right on State Route 414 North. At the Fourth St. intersection go approx. 9 miles north, to the Hector Ranger Station. 1/2 mile past the Ranger Station turn right, Schuyler County Route 2. Go 4.4 miles east past County Route 4 to the intersection. Turn left onto Potomac Rd and look for the signs for the Potomac Group Campground. From the North, take I-90 to exit 41 (State Route 414 south to Hector, NY). The second asphalt road on the left past Wickham's Plaza (1/2 mile) is County Route 2. Turn left and go 4.4 miles east past County Route 4 to the intersection. Turn left onto Potomac Road and look for the signs for the Potomac Group Campground.
