There is a maximum of 2 cars allowed per campsite* Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance for family sites and 4 days in advance for group sites. This campground requires: 2 night minimum stay on weekends. 3 night minimum holiday weekend stay. For the 2009 season, campground is open May 01 at 8am - closed September 30 at 2pm and camping fees range from $10 - $24 / night. Camping equipment is limited to two tents, or one RV and one tent, per campsite. All camping equipment must be on the impact area or pullout. Camper occupancy is limited to 8 people maximum per site. Visitors to campers will be charged a $3 fee per vehicle and must be out of the campground by 10 pm. Quiet hours are in effect from 10 pm until 6 am. The cutting of standing trees for firewood is prohibited. Pets must be on a leash at all times. No ATVs or ORVs allowed. CAUTION: Skunks frequent the area. All food must be stored in approved containers. There is a group campsite available which includes three camping spurs and a picnic shelter. The Group site can accommodate up to 40 campers, 10 tents, and 12 vehicles. More information about this area may be obtained by calling (615)459-6948 or (615) 889-1975. From downtown Nashville, take I-24/I-40 east to I-24 east 15 miles to exit 66B, right on Sam Ridley Parkway 3 miles, exit right on to Hwy 41N Murfreesboro Pk 1.5 miles, right on Fergus Rd 2 miles, right on Jones Mill R 4 miles. Poole Knobs Campground is the first left past the park entrance sign - follow sign arrow.
