Description

Pine Point is located on Gilman Road south of Lakehead. The campground is well forested and sits on the upper McCloud arm of Shasta Lake. The nearest boat launch is 4 miles away at Hirz Bay and there is a daily $8.00 fee for use. The resorts around the lake have watercraft and marinas with fuel. The nearest store is 23 miles away in Lakehead. There is abundant wildlife in the area.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. Respect wildlife! Store food properly out of reach of bears in provided storage containers or bring gear to hang out of reach. Poison oak is abundant throughout the forest. Campers must have a gate combination before camping. Available by calling 530-275-8113 one week prior to arrival.
