OUTLET CAMPGROUND (ID), ID

Description

Campground open prior to and after reservation dates on a first come basis as weather permits. Located in central Idaho, approximately 4 miles south of Stanley, near Redfish Lake. Restrooms are provided. Firewood is sold at the site. Campground is located in an alpine mountain environment with average summer temperatures of 78 degrees high, and 40 degrees low. One tent pad is provided at most of the sites. Popular events include an Arts and Crafts Fair in July, Wagon Days in September, Fireman's Ball, Salmon Festival and Quilt Fair.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Irrigation begins the first week of July and ends the first week of September. On holiday weekends, irrigation will not take place until after the holiday. Irrigation days are every Sundy after July 4th and before Labor Day. Irrigation begins at 2:00pm on these dates. Campers must vacate the premises (with all equipment) by noon on the day of irrigation. Admission to the campground is at noon on the following day. Pets must be leashed. Reservations are not transferrable. Wheels on pavement only. Tents on tent pads only. Fee includes 1 vehicle per single site and two vehicles per double site. An extra vehicle fee will need to be paid at the campground for the 2nd vehicle at single sites and the 3rd and 4th vehicles at double sites. No refunds for bad weather. Must bring reservation confirmation to the campground. All single sites have a maximum of 8 people and 2 vehicles per site. Double sites have a maximum of 16 people and 4 vehicles per site. Occupy site within 24 hours or forfeit. DISCOUNT PASSES NOT HONORED ON DOUBLE SITES.

Take State Highway 75, from Stanley, Idaho, 4 miles south. Go west on Forest Road 214 for a short distance, and turn right at Outlet Campground entry sign.
