Reservationists must pick up the key to their site at the Sandia Ranger District office with a returnable key deposit of $10.

BE BEAR AWARE! Bears have been sighted throughout the Sandia Ranger District. Recreationists are to keep all food out of site in (preferably) metal containers, locked inside their vehicle. Do not put food in the back of a pick up or any open area where the food can be viewed through a window, Do not be more than 100 feet from food. All food must be removed from picnic tables and grills. You may be sited if you leave food out in the open.

ALL FIRE RESTRICTIONS LIFTED ON THE CIBOLA NATIONAL FOREST! The public is reminded that campfire safety is still of concern year round.
