Description

New Shady Rest Campground is located in the Eastern Sierras next to the town of Mammoth Lakes at an elevation of 7,800 feet. The campsites are located under ths shady canopy of a mature Jeffery pine forest, yet are within walking distance of restaurants and stores in the town of Mammoth Lakes.

This facility is operated by California Land Management dba Inyo Recreation. Your comments are appreciated; comment forms are available from campground hosts or directly at www.clm-services.com.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
  • A fee of $5.00 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground.
  • There is a $7.00 charge for the sanitary dump station.
  • Shower facilities are not in the campground. Shower facilities near the campground.
