NORTH SHORE PICNIC AREA A & B (ID), ID

Description

Located in central Idaho, approximately four miles south of Stanley, Idaho, near Redfish Lake. Picnic area is located in an alpine mountain environment with average summer temperatures of 78 degrees high, and 40 degrees low. Restrooms and swimming beach are provided. Firewood is for sale at the campground. Popular events include an Arts and Crafts Fair in July, Wagon Days in September, Salmon Festival & Quilt Fair in September along with Wagon Days and Fireman's Ball.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This is a day use only picnic area from 6am to 10pm. Site must be occupied by 10am or forfeit rights to reserved parking area. Pets must be leashed. No overnight camping - day use only from 6am-10pm. Must bring voucher to Picnic Area. No access from 10:00pm to 6:00am, day use from 6:00am to 10:00pm. Come with minimum number of vehicles possible.

From Stanley, Idaho, take State Highway 75, south 4 miles. Turn west of State 75 at the Red Fish Lake sign onto Forest Road 214 and turn right at the North Shore Picnic Area entrance sign.
