Description

At 6300' and on the shore of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, this area is representative of a high desert community. Typical weather ranges from warm days to cool nights. The campground area offers a boat ramp, restrooms, potable water, and an ADA accessible restroom with flush toilets and showers. An amphitheater with bleachers and screen support is used for interpretive programs. No lifeguards on duty. Vehicles towed to the sites are not considered additional vehicles. A boat is not considered an extra vehicle even if it is used for sleeping. 2 vehicles = 1 sleeping unit + 1 passenger vehicles per single site. Nearby group sites are located at Antelope Flat, Dripping Springs, Greendale, Arch Dam, and Dutch John Draw.
