Description

Meeks Bay Campground in the Lake Tahoe Basin and located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe off of Highway 89. A sandy beach and crystal clear water can be enjoyed by all for this friendly family atmosphere campground. All 40 sites have paved parking spurs. The campground is open approximately 5/15 - 10/15.

  • All campers must register with camp host
  • Six people allowed per site
  • Quite hours 10pm to 6am
  • $5.00 fee for extra vehicles collected at campground
  • No showers
  • No discharge of firearms or fireworks
  • No ATV or OHV use in campground
  • Bears frequent the area. All food must be kept in approved containers
  • No pets on beaches
  • Pet rules strictly enforced. Maximum 2 pets per site.
  • No Pets on beaches
  • No hunting or chain saw use
  • No refunds for bad weather
  • Highway 89 along side of campground
