Description

Meadows Group Campground is located 45 miles south of Denver, CO, near the town of Buffalo Creek. The campground is at an elevation of 7400 feet, and temperatures are generally mild. The Buffalo Creek mountain bike area and the Lost Creek Wilderness Area can be accessed from the campground via the Colorado Trail.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends. A maximum of 25 vehicles per group site are allowed. 1 - 50 people = $75.00 51 - 100 people = $125.00 101 -150 people = $175.00 We recommend that you bring drinking water. We advise visitors to practice proper bear precautions with food items. Limited water available - no water hookups Maximum 8 persons per site (except for group campgrounds) Quiet Hours 10 pm to 8 am Check in : 2 pm checkout is 12 pm

From Denver, Colorado, take Highway 285 southwest to Pine Junction, turn south on Jefferson County 126 and travel 15 miles to Buffalo Creek. Turn right on Forest Road 550, travel 5 miles to the Meadows Group Campground.
