Description

There are no modern bathroom facilities or electricity. A outhouse is located near the cabin. The cabin can accommodate up to six people comfortably. Rental fee is $40 per night, for up to 7 consecutive nights.

Alerts and Important Information

If using stock to access this cabin, make sure to bring weed seed free feed. The drinking water at the cabin is not potable so must be treated. A propane stove, refrigerator, and lights are provided, but make sure to shut off the propane before you leave. This cabin can accommodate up to six persons. If you have questions please contact the Moose Creek Ranger Station at the above mentioned phone number. Access to the Meadow Creek Cabin is with a key. Please contact the Moose Creek Ranger Station at 208-926-4258 to make arrangements to get the key. The best way is to stop by the Ranger Station on the way to the trailhead

You can also access the cabin from Elk City by way of Kirk's Fork Trail #830 to Anderson Bjutte, then Butte Creek Trail #809 to the Meadow Creek Trail #726, then right on this trail approximately ¼ mile to the Meadow Creek Cabin. This route is open to motorcycles the whole way. This direction is a total of approximately 14 miles to the cabin.
