Mammoth Pool Campground is located on the San Joaquin River in the Sierra Nation Forest. The campground is located in a mountain environment with a reservoir nearby by. Popular activities include hiking, fishing and hunting.

  • Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance
  • 3night minimum on holiday weekends
  • Fee for extra vehicles collected on site
  • No ATV/OHV in campground
  • No refund for bad weather
  • Pets must be leashed at all times
  • Quiet hours 10PM to 6AM
  • Nearby boat ramp closed May 1st to June 16th for deer migration
  • No useage of firearms, chainsaws or fireworks in campground

From Fresno, California, take Highway 41 north, turn northeast on Forest Road 200 and pass through North Fork. Take the Minarets Road east, follow it 37 miles, turn right on Mammoth Pool Road and follow it 4 miles to the Mammoth Pool Campground.
