A Rec Area Pass is required of all who recreate in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. It can be purchased at several locations in Kamas, at the Bear River Lodge on the north end of Mirror Lake Highway, and at the Kamas, Bear River, and Evanston Ranger Stations. Campers must have a recreation pass before camping. Pass fees are: 3 days -$6 , Weekly - $12 , and Annual -$45. All fees are per vehicle

Due to snow conditions, please check with the forest service 435-783-4338 to see if the campgrounds will be open on a first come, first serve basis prior to 07/15/05.

This campground has first-come, first-served sites. Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends. A per day, per vehicle fee will be collected on-site beginning with the second vehicle. The tow vehicle + towed vehicle = 1 vehicle. Remember to add the length of your tow vehicle when deciding if your rig will fit on a site. Sites can only accommodate 1 RV/trailer. From Salt Lake City, Utah, take Highway 80 east for 30 miles to Highway 40. Go south on Highway 40 for 1 mile to Kamas exit. Go southeast on Highway 189 for 12 miles to Kamas. Turn east on Highway 150, travel 27 miles to campground.
