Description

Lone Rock Campground is located on the South Platte River at an elevation of 6400 feet. The campground boasts gold medal waters and spectacular views of the river, and the Gill Trail is nearby. Facilities provided include restrooms, pressurized water hydrants throughout the campground, and paved roads and spurs. Services include trash collection and firewood available for sale. There is a campground host on site.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. This campground has first-come, first-served sites. An additional $5 fee will be collected on-site for extra vehicles. SST type vault toilets. Limited water available - no water hookups Maximum 8 persons per site (except for group campgrounds) Quiet Hours 10 pm to 6 am Check in : 2 pm checkout is 12 pm
REGARDLESS OF THE LENGTH OF THE PARKING SPUR, THERE MAY BE ONLY ONE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PER SINGLE CAMP SITE. DOUBLE SITES MAY HAVE TWO RECREATIONAL VEHICLES. RECREATIONAL VEHICLES ARE TRAILERS, CLASS B MOTORHOMES, CLASS C MOTORHOMES, AND CLASS A MOTORHOMES.
