Description

Liberty Glen Campground is located at Lake Sonoma, just a 45 minute drive north of Santa Rosa and a 2 hour drive from San Francisco. The Liberty Glen Campground sits on a ridge with views of the Warm Springs Arm of Lake Sonoma. Liberty Glen does not have access to the shoreline. Liberty Glen contains single family sites, double sites and a group area that formulate the A, B, C, and D loops of the campground area.

Liberty Glen is not taking reservations due to a water problem. They are operating on a first-come first-serve basis. Please call the park for more information.

In order to ensure a safe experience for visitors, it is the policy at Lake Sonoma/Warm Springs Dam Project that no person under 18 years of age is allowed to register for a campsite. Minor(s) under 18 years of age while camping on Lake Sonoma/Warm Springs Dam Project premises must, at all times, be accompanied and supervised by a parent, legal guardian. For age verification purposes, anyone appearing to be under 25 years of age must be in possession of valid photo identification, showing the date of birth. Anyone under 21 years of age is prohibited from possessing or consuming alcoholic beverages while on Lake Sonoma/Warm Springs Dam Project premises.>> During the peak season, the campground entrance gate closes at 10:00pm. Campers should plan to arrive before that time or will have to wait until the following day to gain admittance. Only one extra vehicle is admitted to join a campsite. Extremely limited or no parking is available for extra vehicles. All vehicles must be parked on the pavement. Vehicles parked elsewhere are subject to citation. All generators, radios or other noise generating equipment must be turned off by 10pm. Trash and recycling receptacles are located near each restroom. Boisterous, rowdy conduct or any disturbance of the peace is grounds for Rangers to ask visitors to leave the park.

Take Hwy 101 to the town of Healdsburg and exit on Dry Creek Road. Travel west another 11 miles to the park boundary. Continue travelling west another 4 miles following the park road signs to reach the Liberty Glen Campground at the top of the ridgeline.
