Description

Located in southeast West Virginia, eleven miles from Neola, WV, the campground is adjacent to 165 acre Lake Sherwood. Facilities provided include restrooms and showers.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
2 night minimum restriction, 3 night minimum on holidays
Reserved sites cannot be changed once the camper has arrived at the campground unless the camping equipment does not fit.

  • There is no electricity/water/sewer site hook-ups at this campground.
  • Entrance gate are open from 7 am to 9 pm.
  • Generators and battery charging are allowed only from 10 am to 6 pm.
  • Only electric outboard motors are allowed on the lake.
  • No all-terrain or off-road vehicles allowed on National Forest lands, including this campground.
  • Tents must be placed on tent pads, where provided.

All campsites have a maximum number of vehicles permitted with reservation fee (2). Each additional vehicle will be charged a $3 parking fee.
There is a day use parking fee of $3 per vehicle from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

From Interstate 64, on US Route 60 at White Sulphur Springs, take State Route 92 North for approximately 18 miles. At Neola, turn right on State Route 14 (Lake Sherwood Road). Travel approximately 11 miles to Lake Sherwood.
