WINNIE DAM CAMPGROUND (MN), MN

Description

Situated in the Chippewa National Forest, Lake Winni is a world class fishery, with walleyes and perch the main targets. The area contains nesting bald eagles and is home to many other birds and mammals, including black bear. The campground is intermingled with towering red pines, and a mixture of deciduous trees. All 22 sites have electric hookups. Other amenities include a dump station, fish cleaning station, a boat ramp, pay phone, a playground, a picnic shelter, and shoreline fishing.

This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends.
This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
Reservations are accepted from May 1-September 15. Walk-ins welcome September 15-October 31.
