Services & Amenities:

Alerts and Important Information

During the summer of 2010, trail reconstruction will occur on the Lake Eva Trail located across the lake from this cabin. Cabin solitude will occasionally be interupted by noise from occasional helicopter slinging of materials to the trail site and noise from small equipment that may be operating on site.
Reservations may be made on the day of arrival or up to 180 days in advance. Occasionally poor weather can result in delayed arrivals or extended stays, and cabin users should be prepared for this.
  • Boil or treat water before drinking.
  • All garbage and food must be packed out.
Late November through late April, the cabin may be inaccessible due to frozen lake surface (floatplanes cannot land). Please contact the local Forest Service Ranger District office for current information prior to making reservations during these periods.
