KANER FLAT GROUP SITE (WA), WA

Description

Kaner Flat Group Site is located about 32 miles west of Naches, Washington along the bank of the Little River in the foothills of the eastern Cascades. Activities in the area include fishing, wildlife viewing, birding, hiking. The camp site is located in an area popular with ORV enthusiasts, and there are both single tread motorized and 4WD trails in the vicinity. Temperatures are generally sunny and warm with little precipitation. Altitude is 2,696 feet. The camp is a group site with a capacity of 60 people and 12 vehicles. The site includes picnic tables and vault toilets. Pitcher pump water is available at a neighboring campground. Trash removal is "pack it in, pack it out."

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 1 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. Security is provided by access through a locked gate. The combination to the lock will be included in your confirmation letter. No utility hookups of any kind. Pets must be leashed at all times. Livestock are not permitted Garbage service is not provided. Please pack it out. If you make reservations before February for a stay during or after February, please call (509) 653-1432 a week prior to arrival to confirm the gate lock combination.

From Naches, Washington follow US Hwy 12 west for approx 4 miles to State Route 410. Take Hwy 410 for about 25 miles to Little Naches Rd 1900 on the north side of the Hwy. Turn right on the 1900 rd and follow for 2.5miles. The site is on the left side of the road parallel to the river.
