Kachess has now reopened to camping in the following Loops:

Box Canyon 16 reservabale sites and 16 first come first, serve sites; Beargrass Loop 25 first come, first serve sites and Gale Creek Loop 15 first come, first serve sites.

Bear in mind there is a cleanup going on to remove the debris left from the intensive logging that has taken place over the past month and a half. We thank you for your patience and hope you have an enjoyable camping experience.

Located on the shores of Lake Kachess. Boat ramp and swimming beach provided. Campground is situated in old growth evergreens and surrounded by high mountains. There is a lakeshore trail and self guided interpretive nature trails. There is a host on site. The nearest phone or groceries are located at Snoqualmie Pass. Popular activities include fishing, boating, hiking, swimming, birdwatching and water skiing on Lake Kachess. There are no hook ups or showers. Second vehicle is not allowed if the primary vehicle fills the parking space.
