Description

Open June 30 - October 15.

This pristine mountain lake is surrounded on two sides by a quiet, 8-unit campground. The A-frame is located near the trailhead to the primitive Hat Creek lakes area, three miles away. At 8,800 feet one can expect fleeting snow storms even in the summer months and the primitive mountain road makes for slow going. A-frame has a wood stove, firewood, broom, axe, fire extinguisher, table, two chairs, six mattresses and a shovel. You will need to supply your own dishes, utensils, cookware and drinking water. An outhouse is located nearby.

The maximum capacity for the A-frame is six people and cost is $20/night.
There are two single beds in the ground level and four single mattresses in the loft which is reached by ladder. No linens or bedding provided.
There may be fire restrictions in summer months.
