HOPE VALLEY (CA), CA

Description

Limited water is available. It is advisable to bring some of your own water to supplement what is available. This will help avoid having the tank drained due to over use. Hope Valley Campground is located at an elevation of 7300 feet. Roads are not paved. Popular activities include fishing, hiking, and hunting. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided at every site. There are some sites available on a first-com, first-serve (no reservation) basis.

Alerts and Important Information

*This campground has first-come, first-served sites* Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance. A per day per vehicle extra vehicle fee will be collected onsite beginning with the 2nd vehicle. No refunds are given for bad weather. Black bear country-proper food containment and personal precautions required. Maximum of 6 people allowed per site. Maximum stay limit is 14 days. CAUTION: Black Bears frequent this area. ALL food must be kept in approved containers.
