HOLLAND LAKE CAMPGROUND (MT), MT

Description

The Holland Lake Campground and Group Site are located on the shores of Holland Lake in the Swan Valley of Northwest Montana. Holland Lake and the towering Swan Range, Holland Lake Campground is a great place to enjoy your National Forest. Enjoy clean campsites with great lake access, the nearby Holland Lake Lodge, and hiking on the scenic Holland Falls National Recreation Trail.

Holland Lake Campground can serve as a jumping off point for trips into the Bob Marshall Wilderness. With 40 individual campsites, all close to the lake, and the large group site, toilet facilities, water and many other amenities, Holland Lake will surely meet your needs.

The group site as well as 13 individual campsites are available for reservation with the remaining 27 sites available on a first come first serve basis. Guests with reservations must arrive and check in with the campground host by 2:00 pm or risk forfeiture of fees paid and the site may be given to another camper.

If you want to bring your horse, the Owl Creek Packer Camp is only 1/2 mile away with corrals, water, and feed bunks available on a first come first serve basis.


Group Site Reservations:
The Group Site may be reserved for overnight or day use by clicking BOOK NOW below. You will simply pay $25.00 per night or $75.00 for day use when you make your reservtion and then pay the additional camper unit fees to th e host upon your arrival at the campground.
A minimum of five camper units, defined as a motor home, trailer, pick-up camper, or family tent, is required for use of the group site. This generally means groups no smaller than ten people and no larger than 100 people.
Overnight users will pay the $25.00 per night fee when making their reservation and each camper unit must pay an additional $15.00 per night upon arrival. Paying the camper unit fee upon arrival means you don't have to know how many people are going to come along when making your reservation.
Day users will pay $75.00 when making their reservation and then $4.00 per vehicle to the host upon arrival.
The $25.00 overnight and $75.00 day use group site fees are non-refundable. Groups who do not arrive by the 2:00 p.m. check in time risk forfeiture of the fees and the site may be given to another group.
Individual Site Reservations:
Individual camp sites in the Holland Lake Campground are available for reservation. Sites are available for reservation at $15.00 per night with the $10.00 reservation fee.. Guests must arrive and check in with the campground host by 2:00 p.m. or risk forfeiture of fees and the site may be given to another individual.

Alerts and Important Information

There is a three night minimum stay on holidays, and two night minimum stay on weekends. There are 27 first-come first-serve sites available at the campground. There are no electricity or sewer hook ups at this campground. There are no horses allowed in the campground. Pets on leashes are allowed at the campground.

ATVs must be licensed and cannot be ridden off road or on trails.

Grizzly and black bears frequent the area so all food, beverages, and coolers must be stored inside your vehicle or in approved bear-resistant containers. Ask the Campground Host for more information. Garbage must be placed in bear-proof containers located throughout the campground.

All equipment must fit on the site pad and vehicles may park in developed areas only.

Late Cancellations:
The $25.00 Group Use fee is non refundable.

No-Shows:
If you do not arrive at the campground or group facility by 2pm, you will forfeit your $25.00 Group Use fee.

Individual campsites can accommodate a second camper unit, as defined by an additional motor home, trailer, pick-up camper or family tent. Those parties wishing to double occupy a reserved site must pay the campground host an additional $15.00 per night fee for the double occupancy. No more than ten persons and two camper units may occupy a single campsite.

Please note sites that are "not available online" are first come first serve only basis at the campground.

Guests with individual site reservations who want to move to a different site than the one they have reserved must check with the host before moving or risk being charged for use of both sites.

The Holland Lake Campground and Group Site are located seven miles south of Condon, Montana and 20 miles north of Seeley Lake, Montana off state Highway 83. From Highway 83 turn east on the Holland Lake Road and travel three and 1/2 miles east to the Y-intersection with the Owl Creek Loop Road. Follow Holland Lake Road to the left and the entrances to the group site and campground are a short distance down the road.
