HAYWARD FLAT (CA), CADescriptionLocated adjacent to Trinity Lake, 15 miles from Weaverville, CA. Facilities provided include flush toilets and paved spurs. A boat ramp and marina are located 3 miles away. Popular activities include water skiing, fishing, boating, hiking, and swimming. Bicycles and vehicles on pavement only. There are no other names for this campground, however, Trinity Lake is sometimes known as Clair Engle Lake and shows up both ways on maps. There are amphitheater programs offered twice weekly and junior ranger programs offered weekly. Although two vehicles are allowed in a Family Single Capacity site, only one vehicle is included in the price of a Family Single Capacity Site.
