HARLEQUIN LAKE NORTH CABIN (AK), AKDescriptionCabins are accessible during non winter months via Forest HWY 10 and by fixed wing aircraft on a 1800 foot airstrip. Due to recent and continued vandalism the oil stoves have been removed from this A Frame cabin. Additionally the fiberglass translucent roofing has been compromised and there may be substantial leaks on both North and South sides. There are wood bunks in the A Frame and a pit toilet outside. Cabin Usurer's must provide their own cooking utensils and potable water. The Middle Dangerous River Trail starts on the South East end of there airstrip. Scenic Harlequin Lake is a short .75 miles down a trail from the cabin. The Russell Fiord Wilderness boundary is .5 mile from the cabin as well. Access by wheeled plane to 1800' airstrip at cabin, 1/4 mile trail to cabin from the end of Forest Hwy 10. Harlequin Lake is 1 mile by trail from cabin.
