Description

Located west of Denver, Colorado, on the South Fork of Clear Creek in spruce forests. Elevation is 10,900 feet. Popular activities include fishing, visiting historic Georgetown and local ghost towns. Some first come, first serve sites may be available. Firewood for sale in the campground.

Alerts and Important Information

No reservations being taken due to road closure from Georgetown. Campground can be accessed from Bailey. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holidays. No refunds are given for BAD WEATHER. There is no electricity/water/sewer site hook-ups at this campground. Sites may be available on a first-come first served basis outside the reservation season. 14 day stay limit within 60 day period. This campground has First-come, First-served sites.

Due to bug spraying and hazard tree removable this campground will be periodically closed until late June. Campground might be open on some days on a first/come, first/served basis. Please call the campground before planning to come to the area.
