Description

Grove Campground is situated on a wooded ridge above Laurel River Lake, a 5600 acre lake within the Daniel Boone National Forest. Flush toilets, showers, hot water; ice and firewood for sale at the campground; close proximity to marina and public boat ramp; paved interior roads; fish cleaning facility at boat ramp; trailer dump station free of charge to campers; hiking trails (no motorized vehicle trails nearby). There are high cliffs in the area - exercise caution, especially with children. Sites can only be reserved for dates from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Sites in B loop are reservable. Sites in other loops can only be rented on a first-come, first-served basis at the campground. Sites are also available for rental at the campground between campground opening and closing dates.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends and a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. Pets must be on a leash. You are required to clean up after your pet. No livestock allowed. No all-terrain or off-highway vehicles in campground. No motorized vehicles allowed off roads. Golden Age/Golden Access Passports must be shown upon arrival. The discount only applies to the site that the holder is occupying. There is an electric surcharge included in prices. This surcharge is not subject to Golden Age/Golden Access discount. No refunds for bad weather. An extra vehicle charge will apply to the 3rd vehicle and will be collected on site This campground has first-come, first-served sites. *Double sites do not honor discount passes*

Take Exit 25 from I-75 at Corbin, Kentucky. Take US 25W west 5 miles. Turn right on Kentucky 1193 for 2 miles. Turn right on Forest Service Road 558. Go 3 miles to campground.
