Description

PLUMAS, CA, GRASSHOPPER, GRASSHOPPER FLAT, GRAY EAGLE, LK DAVIS from the town of Portola, California and within the Lake Davis Recreation Area. This campground is one of three located on Lake Davis. Popular MOUNTAINS, LAKE OPEN SPACE, FOREST, VALLEYS activities include camping, fishing, and boating. Restrooms are 4 BOAT RAMPS, CONVENIENCE STORE provided. The California Department of Fish and Game sponsors a free TROUT FISHING, BOATING, SWIMMING fishing day in June and September. 2 VEHICLES PER SITE.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. FIRES IN FIRE CIRCLES ONLY There is no water-skiing allowed at Lake Davis. Overflow camping is OCCUPY SITE WITHIN 24 HOURS OR FORFEIT available nearby. An additional fee will be collected on-site for extra vehicles. More information can be obtained by calling 530-836-2575 This campground has first come, first served sites.

From Reno, Nevada travel north on Highway 395 to Highway 70, turn west on Highway 70 and travel to Portola, California. Turn north on West Street, travel 6 miles to Lake Davis. Cross dam and take first left, Grizzly will be the first campground on the left.
