Description

Flour Lake Campground is a quiet campground with private sites. Each site contains a fire grate and picnic table.
The Campground is located on the quiet shores of Flour Lake, adjacent to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Day-use and overnight permits are required in the Boundary Waters. The lake offers great fishing for smallmouth bass, walleye, lake trout, northern and herring. The campground has vault toilets, a solar pump for water, fire grates, picnic tables and a public boat ramp. Nineteen of the thirty-seven sites can be reserved while the remaining eighteen sites are on a first come, first serve basis. Honeymoon Bluff Hiking Trail is a beautiful scenic overlook and is located just 1/4 mile from the campground entrance. Hiking and mountain bike trails are also adjacent to the campground. Many other services and conveniences as well as watercraft rental are available from Golden Eagle Lodge also located on Flour Lake. Flour Lake Campground is a great place to relax and enjoy life! Alerts and Important Information

This campground has eighteen first-come, first-serve sites, nineteen sites may be reserved. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. An additional fee will be collected on-site for second vehicle. Any change/cancellation made at least 14 days in advance will be entitled to a full refund, less the non-refundable reservation and service fees. Routine patrols are done by the Cook County Sheriff Department and the Concessionaire, Golden Eagle Lodge. There is a public phone, available 24 hours a day, located at Golden Eagle Lodge. Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Must have day use or overnight permits to enter the Boundary Waters.
