FALLS CAMPGROUND (ID), ID

Description

Located 45 miles east of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Campground is situated along the Snake River with some old and new growth cottonwood trees. Restrooms are provided. There is lots of wildlife in this flatbottom-type environment. Most activities during the holidays are located in Idaho Falls. Popular activities include fishing for cutthroat, sight-seeing, photography, and all types of boating. There are no showers provided.


No vehicles allowed on grassy meadows.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance for family sites. Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance for group sites.

A fee of $5.00 per extra vehicle will be collected at the campground. No ATV's or ORV's allowed. All equipment must fit on the site pad. Vehicles park in developed areas only.

A full-time campground host is located on site. Firewood is sold at the campground.

From Idaho Falls, go east 45 miles on Highway 26, turn off at Snake River Bridge, and go 3.5 miles on gravel road to the campground.
