* Winter access to the cabin requires a snowmachine. Please bring your own drinking water. 5 cots are provided bring bedding. No dishes, pots, pans or cooking utensils are provided. Indoor plumbing may be available from 6/1 to 9/15. * The cabin has propane lights and heater, lighting instructions are posted at the cabin. You are responsible for the removal of trash and cleaning of the cabin upon leaving. * Lighting instructions will be posted in the cabin. For your own safety, please read and follow them carefully before lighting any appliances. Dish soap, hand soap, personal supplies, etc. are not available. Please leave the cabin clean for the next occupant. You are responsible for the removal of your own trash from the cabin. * Fees are nonrefundable * Please call the district office at (208) 847-0375, 4 days prior to your arrival to confirm the security combination.

The Eight Mile Guard Station is located 11 miles southwest of Soda Springs. From the stop light at the east end of Soda Springs head south 6 miles to forest road 425. From this point, follow the signs for another 5 miles south to the Guard Station. Maps are available upon request at the district office.
