Description

Edgewater Campground is located along the banks of the Pend Oreille River in the Colville National Forest. Popular activities include boating and fishing. There is a boat launch area provided for water activities. There are also ample areas for hiking, including the nearby Terry Trail and Box Canyon.

Edgewater Campground is open mid-May through Labor Day. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance, but must be made at least 5 days prior to your intended arrival date.

There is limited parking available, extra vehicles (more than one per site on single sites) will be charged an extra vehicle fee.

CAUTION: Bears/cougars frequent the area. All food must be kept in approved containers.

The campground is located approximately 90 miles north of Spokane WA and 2 miles south of Ione WA. After crossing the Ione Bridge eastbound over the Pend Oreille River, look for the Edgewater Campground sign, immediately turn left. The Camground is located 2 miles north of the bridge on Box Canyon Rd.
