DRIPPING SPRINGS CAMPGROUND (UT), UTDescription*Campground sustained major fire damage in 2002 and has been rebuilt but no shade*Located at 6000', this area is representative of a high desert community. The landscape is mainly a juniper forest where temperatures can fluctuate from warm days to cool nights. This is the closest campground to the Little Hole Picnic and Boat Site on the Green River. The family campground has flush bathrooms, 5 accessible sites, and potable water. Group area #1 has 6' diameter fire rings, and extra long picnic tables. Groups 2, 3, and 4 have pavilions. Alerts and Important InformationEquipment must fit on the site pad. Vehicles park in developed areas only. Public showers are available at Mustang Ridge and Deer Run campgrounds. A dump station is available at Lodgepeople, Deer Run or Firefighters campgrounds. No more than 2 vehicles will be allowed on a single site. No exceptions. This campground has first-come, first-served sites. FEES INCLUDE ALL APPLICABLE TAXES A recreation fee is required for all usage outside the campground at Flaming Gorge National Recreation ARea. The per vehicle fees are $5 per day, $15 for 7 days, and $35 per season. Passes available from CG hosts, local businesses, the FS.
