Description

Fishing and hiking available and Also Fishing Liceses sold at White Horse Lake. Vault toilets, garbage bins, and water faucets throughout the area. Group area has a pavilion (a.k.a ramada). Nature trail within the campground.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made 2 days in advance.
  • 2 night minimum on weekends and a 3 night minimum on holidays.
  • There is no utility site hook-ups at this campground.
  • No swimming is allowed at the lakes!
  • Pets MUST be restrained or on a leash.
  • Motorbikes and ATV's may be used ONLY to enter and leave the area.
  • Arizona fishing license required for anyone 14 years and over. Fishing Liceses sold at White Horse Lake.
  • Only electric boat motors (1 HP or less) allowed on Dogtown Lake.
  • Waste-water (not even gray water) is NOT allowed to be drained onto the ground.
  • 14-day camping limit on the Forest this includes the campgrounds.

In Williams, turn South on 4th Street (County Rd 73) and go 4 mile to FR 140. Turn left onto FR 140 for 3 miles to FR 132, then turn left on FR 132 and follow it to the campground. FR 140 is a high use road and can become rough during the peak season.
