DOUBLE BAY CABIN (AK), AK

Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, wood and oil stoves for heat, and an outside toilet. Mattresses or cooking utensils are not provided. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear and food. Bring #1 oil for stove to heat the cabin, or you can bring wood (not provided).

Effective November 17, 2003, reservations for Alaska cabins will be subject to a new policy allowing only one change per reservation. A change in reservation is defined as a modification to the start or end date of the reservation. After one change has been made, if additional changes are desired, the customer must cancel the reservation and at a later time, re-book the new dates. This policy has been established to assure that reservations for cabins are fair and equitable for everyone.

Same day reservations are allowed for this cabin. Occasional poor weather can result in extended stays, and cabin users should be prepared.

Access via floatplane (20 minutes from Cordova) or boat (35 miles from Cordova). Approach to cabin via boat or plane may be difficult at low tide because of shallow lagoon. Please consult local tide tables.
