DEER LAKE (MN), MN

Description

Located 24 miles northwest of Deer River. Campground is adjacent to Big Cut Foot Sioux Lake. Campsites have beautiful views of the lake. Restroom facilities are provided. Popular activities include swimming, hiking, mountain biking, boating and fishing. Campground host is available on site from May 1 to Labor Day each season.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.

  • The campground is open from May 1st to May 31st and from September 2nd to October 15th on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Campers will need to stop at the fee station to see if their camping party meets the definition of double occupancy. Addition camping units must pay $16.
  • There is a limit of 1 wheeled camper OR 2 tents per camp pad;
  • Firewood is available at the campground when the host is present.
  • Customers may change to an open non-reservable site after arrival, but must pay again for the new site. If you are unsure about sites, call the forest before making a reservation so you won't be unhappy when you arrive.
