Description

THE NRRS IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS FOR THIS FACILITY Located near the lake at the Crystal Lake Recreation Area and San Gabriel Canyon at an elevation of 5,600 feet. The climate is nice. Areas for tents are provided. Motorized boats are not allowed on the lake. Some sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. Firewood is sold at the campground.

THE NRRS IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS FOR THIS FACILITY This Campground is closed until further notice due to fire damage. Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. An additional fee will be collected on-site for extra vehicles. No entrance after 10 pm. Gate is locked. No refunds are given for BAD WEATHER. If you are looking for a group site please ask for Crystal Lake Deer Flats Group. This is bear country and no refunds will be given for bear encounters. This campground closed in 2004 until further notice due to fire damage.

From Azusa, take Highway 39 north for twenty-five miles, through San Gabriel Canyon. Follow the signs to Crystal Lake. When you come to Crystal Lake Road, turn right to Crystal Lake. Stop at fee station.
