CROW PASS CABIN (AK), AK

Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, and an outside toilet. Mattresses or cooking utensils are not provided. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear and food. There is no stove for heat.

Effective November 17, 2003, reservations for Alaska cabins will be subject to a new policy allowing only one change per reservation. A change in reservation is defined as a modification to the start or end date of the reservation. After one change has been made, if additional changes are desired, the customer must cancel the reservation and at a later time, re-book the new dates. This policy has been established to assure that reservations for cabins are fair and equitable for everyone.

Same day reservations are allowed for this cabin. Reservations are taken from June 1 to Sept. 30. This cabin is unavailable in the winter and spring due to high avalanche danger. Occasional poor weather can result in extended stays, and cabin users should be prepared.

Cabin is near Crow Pass in the Chugach Mountains, 3 miles from the Crow Pass Trailhead. Access: At mile 90, Seward Highway (35 miles south of Anchorage). Turn north onto paved road leading to Mt. Alyeska Resort. After 2 miles turn left onto Crow Creek Road. Trailhead is at end of road (7 miles). Refer to USGS Map, Anchorage A6.
