Cottonwood Springs Campground is MOUNTAINS LAKE OPEN SPACE FOREST VALLEY located within the Frenchman Lake Recreation Area, which includes two boat LOCAL INFO CALL (916)993-1413 ramps, hiking trails, RV dump station, fishing access points, and FLUSH BATHROOMS, PAVED SITES, PICNIC TABLE, BAR-B-Q, FIRE RING, accessible facilities (restrooms, campsites, and lake access trail). FISHING, BOATING, HIKING, PASSIVE RECREATION. Loop A and C contain single faimly sites and Loops B and D are group sites. NO OHV IN CAMPGROUNDS, 2 VEHICLES PER SITE The group sites are available with reservatons only. Cottonwood Springs loop B has acessible campsites, table and restrooms. The Views include mountains, valleys, open space, and Frenchman Lake. The closest store is in Chilcoot. California Department of Fish and Game sponsors a free fishing day in April and September each year.
