All sites in this park are closed to advanced reservations March 26 to November 1, 2010. Major repairs and improvements are scheduled for this park during this period. Depending on the level of construction work at various times, some sites may be intermittently available to customers at the park on a first come, first served basis only. Customers may check on availability of campsites on a first come, first served basis by calling the Mound Valley Gate House at (620)328-2050.

This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends for group sites.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited within the Mound Valley Swimming Beach Area.

From US 169 at Cherryvale, KS, go east through Cherryvale on Main St., turn south at the end of Main St. onto Olive St., go 1/2 a block (there is a sign), turn east onto County Route 5000, follow paved road 4 1/2 miles to Big Hill Lake. Follow signs to Cherryvale Park.
